Uncontrolled biological invasions are reducing freshwater ecosystem diversity and resilience. Research is needed to evaluate whether non-structural deterrents feasible within lock or canal environments. This study examined common carp (Cyprinus carpio) buffalo hybrid (Ictiobus) movement patterns in response acoustic stroboscopic deterrents.
